Indian Cricket team will play four matches at the Nassau County International (NCI) Cricket Stadium in New York. One of the four games is the T20 World Cup warm-up match against Bangladesh on June 1. The other three games are scheduled against Ireland (June 5), Pakistan (June 9), and the USA (June 12). After that, India will move to Florida for the fourth game against Canada (June 12).

NCI Cricket Stadium has no practice pitches

The NCI Cricket Stadium in New York has no practice facilities, therefore the modular facility will only be utilised for matches. The global organisation has selected Cantiague Park as the official training location for teams, and the venue is a decent distance from the stadium.

Rohit and his teammates gathered on the afternoon of June 29 for training on three of the six drop-in pitches available at the makeshift venue. The Indian team management expressed displeasure over the amenities provided to them. ICC stated that they did not receive any official complain regarding India’s concerns for practice facilities.
